Preschool Covenant
The preschool years are crucial because they occur when human development is at its most pliable. More growth will occur in the first five years than any other period of life. These first years of experiences lay the groundwork for subsequent development. We want to help in giving your child a foundation on which to build.

Kolola Springs Baptist Church will provide a safe, nurturing environment for children while we fulfill our mission of caring while sharing Jesus.
Parents May Expect That:
- Children will be placed in age appropriate rooms and proper adult/child ratios will be maintained.
- KSBC will endeavor to make facilities and equipment safe, sanitary, and properly maintained.
- Children will be cared for in a loving and nurturing manner.
- Diaper changes will be made as needed and 20-30 minutes before the child is picked up.
- Parents and children will be greeted in a warm, friendly manner.
- A security claim/call system will be used.
- Parents will be notified if a child becomes ill.
Parent Responsibility to KSBC
Kolola Springs Baptist Church expects each parent to:
- Pick up your child promptly after services.
- Take your turn serving in the nursery on a rotational basis.
- Fill out a child information sheet the first time your child comes to nursery or children’s church and provide written instructions for special needs including alerting workers of any allergies.
- Abide by the security claim/call system.
- Make separation time from your child positive and as quick as possible.
- Help us provide a safe and healthy environment by keeping sick children at home.
- Identify each child’s belongings.
- Include a change of clothes.
- Provide at least two diapers each time you bring your child.
- Sign your child in and out of the nursery, Awana, and/or children’s church.
- Administer any required medication.
Sick Child Policy
We ask for you to help us and the other families by complying with the following guidelines detailing when not to bring your child.
- If your child has had a fever in over 100.4 in the last 24 hours
- If your child has a harsh cough or large amounts of yellow or green nasal discharge
- If your child has had diarrhea or vomiting in the last 24 hours
- If your child has head lice, pinworms, pink eye, or ringworms
- If your child has strep throat and has been on antibiotics for less than 24 hours
- If your child has a sore throat croup, or persistent coughing associated with a respiratory infection
- If your child has any unidentified or communicable rash
- If your child has any other symptoms from which they would usually stay home from school
